LaGrange Soccer Intramural/Limited Distance Travel 2019/20

Intramural is defined as U5-U10
Limited Distance Travel is U11-U19
The Registration system will place you in the age appropriate division based on the child's date of birth.

Registration will remain open even when divisions are full. Interested players will be placed on a wait list - if there are openings then you will be notified by email to complete the registration process. Players who compete at the travel level or higher are not eligible to compete in the Limited Distance Travel program.

For U5 and U6 players - registration fee includes a soccer shirt. For players U7 and older registration fee includes a soccer shirt, shorts, and socks.

Players are required to wear shin guards for safety and cleats are recommended. Players that are new to LaGrange Soccer are required to send a copy of the players birth certificate either via mail - LaGrange Soccer PO Box 101 Lagrangeville, NY 12540 Attn Intramural Registrar OR email to

LaGrange Travel Soccer for 2019/2020

The LaGrange Soccer Club offers travel divisions for both boys and girls U9- U19. Each player must attend a tryout and be selected by the designated coach prior to placement on a team. The registration fee does not include the cost of a team uniform. This fee includes the cost to obtain player passes, insurance, referee fees, field maintenance and club administrative costs. This fee does not include indoor training costs, tournament fees or additional trainer fees as determined by individual coaches.

U8 Travel Development Program 2019/20

This program is offered to any LaGrange Soccer Intramural registered players whose birthdays fall between 1/1/2012 - 12/31/2012 as training geared towards the travel level and is for players looking for extra touches to improve their game. This training is supplemental to the players regular intramural games and practices. There is no fee at this time.

Training will be on Tuesday evenings from 5:15-6:30pm beginning in September at Stringham Park.

LaGrange Soccer Registration - Fall 2019/Spring 2020


Registration for both Intramural/Limited Distance Travel is OPEN for the Fall 2019 and Spring 2020 - when you register now you get both seasons.  Our Coed U7 and U9/U10 are taking players on our wait list -there is no cost to do so.  We will do our best to find a place for players to play and notify you by email when a spot becomes available. 

Registration for our Travel Program is OPEN - please register only after your child has tried out and been invited to join a travel team. 

 Registration for our Special Needs program is always OPEN and is currently open for the Fall 2019/Spring 2020 season. 

Registration for U8 Travel Development Program is  OPEN for those players who are registered in our U8 Intramural program (players born in 2012). 

  Please note: 2019-2020 Season will begin in the Fall of 2019 (Sept-Nov) and includes Spring 2020 (April-June)

The Intramural/Limited Distance Travel registration fees are as follows before July 15th:

U5-U6 - $110 per child

 U7-U10 - $125 per child

U12-U15 - $155 per child

U16-U19 - $165 per child

***For Limited Distance Travel and Intramural players who register after July 15th   they will incur a $25  late fee ***


The soccer year registration fee includes a fall season (September to November) AND the following spring season (April to June).

Lagrange Soccer Club offers various levels of play, please carefully select the correct program link when registering as there are many choices: 

-Intramural (U5-U10)  The LaGrange Intramural Soccer Program is offered to all children 4 years and older.  Children born between 1/1/2015 and 12/31/2015 are eligible to play for their first time in the U-5 division for the 2019/2020 soccer year.  The program provides skills instruction for all age divisions.  U5-U10 is a co-ed division. 

-Limited Distance Travel (U11-U18)

-U8 Travel Development Program (LaGrange Soccer registered U8 only), online registration required - signup begins August 1st**

The LaGrange soccer club is excited to offer our U8  program again this fall to our LaGrange families. The program aims to provide training for U8 intramural players interested in starting travel program in their U9 year. Players in this program will be practicing and playing games in their regular U8 division along with the additional travel development training.

-Travel Soccer Registration  (U9-19) Register for Travel Soccer only after your child has tried out for a team and has been invited to play. 

                                          Travel registration fee are as follows:  U9-12  $225/player  

                                                                                                          U13-19  $250/player

-Special Needs Soccer Program is offered to adults and children with disabilities.

LaGrange Soccer Club has a premier soccer facility at Stringham Park for your children and your support is essential to its success.  As the parent or legal guardian, you will need to perform concession duties for at least three (3) hours per year.  If you do not fulfill concession requirements, your children’s participation in LaGrange Soccer Club may be in jeopardy for the following year.  Please click here for a detailed description of our concession requirements.  LSC Concession Stand duties changes v 2.0.pdf      



Remember the five S's:  Shirt, Shorts, Socks, Shoes, Shinguards

Goalkeeper's jersey is to be distinct from the remainder of team, referee, and assistants.

Soccer cleats: Sneakers are not recommended since they tend to be slippery and can cause foot injury on the grassy field.

Shin guards: Shin guards are mandatory for both practice and games. No exceptions. Soccer socks need to completely cover your child's shin guards during practice and games.

Soccer Ball: The different age divisions use the following size soccer balls:

U5 -U8 - size 3

U9 - U12 - size 4

U13 and up - size 5
